We introduce Reedley's youth to the world of ag — funding the scholarships, fair projects, and 4-H experiences that turn kids into tomorrow's farmers, ranchers, and leaders. It all starts on one big night.
Our Mission
The Reedley Ag Boosters are a volunteer group of farmers, families, and local businesses. We raise money at Hot August Nights and put it right back into the hands of our 4-H youth — so the growing cost of agriculture never falls on parents alone.
Awards for graduating 4-H members heading off to college and their next chapter.
Extra "top-off" money on members' livestock projects at the Fresno Fair — helping recoup the cost of raising their animals.
Supplies for club projects — swine, beef, goats, rabbits, archery, sewing, cooking, photography and more.
Rising California 4-H membership fees, covered — so the burden isn't on families.
Recognizing kids who breed their own livestock and earn "Best of Show" at the fair.
Families spend a week or two at the fair — we help feed them and cut their costs.
*Fresno County produced over $9 billion in agriculture in 2024 — #1 in the nation.
Why It Matters
Agriculture doesn't just happen. It's taught — one animal, one project, one county fair at a time. When you support the Ag Boosters, you plant a seed in a young person's future. Every scholarship, every top-off bid, every belt buckle tells a Reedley kid: this world is yours to grow into.
Hands-On Learning
4-H is learning by doing. From the kitchen to the range to the great outdoors, our members build real skills, confidence, and character. A few of our most popular projects:
One of our most popular projects — kids learn to cook, can, and bake from scratch, building kitchen skills that last a lifetime.
Rifle, shotgun, and archery introduce kids to hunting and sportsmanship — with a strong foundation in the safety and proper handling of guns and bows.
Our Outdoor Adventure club shows kids the beauty of nature — camping, exploring, and discovering our wonderful national parks.
Kids give back — cleaning streets and sidewalks, helping with Memorial Day services, and marching in the Christmas parade.
In our floral project, kids learn the art of building beautiful floral arrangements — creativity, color, and craft in bloom.
Livestock, sewing, photography, arts & crafts, Legos and beyond — there's a project for every kind of kid.

The Main Event
A Western night out for a good cause — dinner, drinks, games, a live auction, and our famous gun raffle under the August sky. Every seat filled helps fund a 4-H member's year.
